Our friends from William B. Meyer wanted to make a difference during the holiday season, so they organized a Season of Giving Food Drive from November 18-December 5. The crew collected 60 boxes of cereal, 24 boxes of mashed potatoes and more than 140 canned goods for a total of 750 lbs. of food. That will provide 625 meals to local families in need! William B. Meyer's team personally delivered all of the donations to The Thomas Merton Center in Bridgeport, CT, and the Greater Waterbury Interfaith-Ministries in Waterbury, CT.
In 2019 alone, William B. Meyer's Stratford branch held three food drives and provided more than 1,000 meals to their community. We are so grateful for your continued support of our fight to end hunger in Connecticut and nationwide!
