White Castle Holds Food Drive and Fundraiser to Help Fight Hunger

White Castle has been considered royalty around our offices lately, because the world famous restaurant chain held food drives and fundraisers at 16 of their franchises in and around Minnesota’s Twin Cities from January 20-March 2.

On February 5, all of the participating locations held their “Craver Community Night” from 5:00 -9:00 p.m.  For customers who brought in the flyer from the event, White Castle donated 15% of their orders to Move For Hunger. Together, the 16 restaurants raised $1,150 for our cause!

White Castle also collected a grand total of 810 lbs. of non-perishables during the food drive, which is the equivalent of 675 meals! Our friends at the Minneapolis branch of Piepho Moving & Storage, an Allied Van Lines agent, and the Minneapolis/St. Paul branch of Beltmann Relocation Group, delivered all of the donations to Second Harvest Heartland, as well as the Sandstone and Forest Lake divisions of Family Pathways Food Shelf.

More than 445,000 people in the Twin Cities area struggle with food insecurity. Thank you to White Castle, Piepho Moving & Storage, and Beltmann Relocation Group for helping out your neighbors in need!
