For the second straight year, TDE, a marketing firm, held a food drive to help fight hunger in Baltimore.
In 2017, TDE Canned their CEO, Eric Chapman, by filling his office with boxes upon boxes of non-perishable food donations. The event was a resounding success, and the staff knew right away that they wanted to do it again!
From November 26-December 24, the team at TDE held a Season of Giving Food Drive. Everyone on the staff was encouraged to bring in pasta, canned fruits/vegetables, rice, beans, and other shelf-stable items. At the end of the month-long drive, a grand total of 80 lbs. of food had been donated, which is enough to provide 65 meals!
Our friends from Easy Movers, a Wheaton World Wide Moving agent, provided boxes for the collection and volunteered to deliver all of the donation to the Maryland Food Bank.
More than 665,000 people in Maryland are food insecure, including 1 in 7 children. Thank you to the staff at TDE and to the crew from Easy Movers for making a difference in the communities you serve!
