Six Suddath Relocation Systems branches across the United States hosted Fill-A-Truck food drives on November 29 to coincide with Giving Tuesday.
The participating offices each parked one of their trucks outside of a supermarket in their area and challenged shoppers to donate enough non-perishable items to fill the entire trailer. The six branches were able to collect 2,150 lbs. of food in total -- that's enough to provide nearly 1,800 meals! Each team delivered the donations from their respective food drive to a local food pantry, just in time for the holidays.
“At Suddath, we live daily by our values of integrity, trust, innovation, commitment, and teamwork. We are invested in our local communities, believe in doing what’s best and giving back to those around us,” said Michael Brannigan, CEO of The Suddath Companies. “It is an honor to be a Move For Hunger partner and we look forward to making a lasting impact on the lives we touch.”
Thank you to the teams in Jacksonville, Minneapolis, San Jose, Seattle/Tacoma, Tucson, Washington, D.C. for being a part of this nationwide effort the fight hunger!
