Throughout the month of December, St. Pete Moving & Storage held a Season of Giving Food Drive and Fundraiser at their office in Florida, in conjunction with two local businesses, Brooklyn Pizza Company and Crunch Fitness.

A grand toal of 239 lbs. of food was donated, which equates to 199 meals! All of the food was delivered to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic – Jared Hechtkopf Community Food Bank.

St. Pete Moving & Storage is a longtime partner of Move For Hunger and is always willing to lend a helping hand. They have assisted with the NALC’s annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive for the past four years. Having been a member since January 2013, St. Pete is one of our leading contributors. Out of more than 900 moving companies in our network, St. Pete is one of just seven to have delivered more than 300,000 lbs. of food! That’s enough to provide 269,000 meals!

More than 2.8 million people in Florida, including 1 in 5 children, are food insecure. Thank you to the crew frim St. Pete Moving & Storage, Brooklyn Pizza Company, and Crunch Fitness for embracing the season of giving and helping out in the community!
