SML Holds Summer Extravaganza Food Drive/Fundraiser

Our partners from SML Relocation held their first-ever Summer Extravaganza from June 17-July 31!

Food banks face their greatest need during the summer months, when classes end and children are no longer receiving free or reduced-cost meals at school. To help, SML decided to organize a food drive to help keep the shelves stocked at their local food bank AND a fundraiser to help support Move For Hunger’s programs nationwide.

To help drive donations, SML provided its representatives with 1 raffle ticket for every 5 food non-perishable food items that were collected and 1 ticket for every monetary donation they received. A grand total of 250 lbs. of food was collected — enough to provide 208 meals — and $3,170 to support our hunger relief and food rescue programs!

We are so thankful for those at SML Relocation and all they do to help fight hunger in Texas and nationwide.
