Sea Cure Moving Holds Emergency Food Drive For Local Food Pantry

March 1, 2019

Sea Cure Moving held an emergency food drive in October at their offices in Tuckerton, New Jersey as a way to help the Greater Tuckerton Food Pantry replenish food and supplies.

In just three weeks, more than 300 lbs. of food was collected, which is enough to provide 260 meals!  Sea Cure Moving, a Bekins Van Lines agent, then personally delivered all of the donations to the Pantry.

Since Sea Cure Moving joined the Move For Hunger network in 2013, they have collected a grand total of 14,640 lbs. of food, which equates to 12,200 meals!

Nearly 55,000 people in Ocean County, including 1 in 7 children, are food insecure.  Thank you to our friends at Sea Cure Moving for helping the Greater Tuckerton Food Pantry in their time of need!
