The holiday season is a difficult time of year for people who are food insecure. Thankfully, the crew from Ramar Moving Systems recognizes that. On December 7, Ramar Moving organized their 2nd annual Season of Giving Food Drive to help provide holiday meals for families in Frederick, Maryland.
Last year, Ramar Moving Systems held a Fill-a-Truck food drive and collected more than 3,000 lbs. of food in just a few hours. Although they weren't quite able to match that total this year, the Ramar Moving team still collected an astounding 2,800 pounds of food in a single day! That was enough to provide 2,300+ meals to their neighbors in need! Ramar Moving Systems delivered all of the donations to the Frederick Community Action Agency the following day.
