It’s always important to spread the love when Valentine’s Day rolls around. That’s why our partners from Pillar Properties held a Share the Love Food Drive at seven of their locations in the greater Seattle area throughout the month of February.

These seven locations collected a combined total of 634 lbs. of non-perishable food items, which will provide nearly 530 meals to their neighbors in need! Our friends from the Seattle branch of Aboda delivered the food to Northwest Harvest Food Bank.

More than 872,000 people, including 1 in 6 children, in Washington state are food insecure. Thanks to Pillar Properties, Aboda, and Northwest Harvest Food Bank for sharing the love!

Move For Hunger has collected nearly 9 million pounds of food thanks, in large part, to ordinary people like you who recognized the urgency of the problem and decided to take action. We need your support to continue providing meals for our neighbors in need.
