Nike Is A Team Player

NikeNike, the corporation that changed the world of sports merchandising, teamed up with All Service Moving and Move For Hunger to collect food for the Hillsborough community in Oregon.

Nike encourages positive action which is exactly what took place throughout December.  The Nike Team & All Service Movers made a major impact across the 213 acres that make up the Nike Corporate Campus in Beaverton, OR.  With over half of the 22 Nike buildings engaged with the Move For Hunger Food Drive, it was a philanthropic field trip traveling from place to place, collecting food for those in need.  All Service Moving not only donated their time to ensure the food was collected but also transported to the local food bank after the event was complete.

With the support of its corporate staff, Nike was able to contribute over 1,096 pounds of food through its holiday food drive, enough food to provide 915 meals to those in need!

A major success is that the efforts of the All Service Mover Team and Nike not only provide meals to the food insecure, but also bring to light how hunger exists locally.  There are over 653,000 people in Oregon that lack access to a healthy diet.  This is a major issue and collaboration between socially responsible movers and leading companies enable huge strides to take place to help fight this food insecurity.  The Move For Hunger team is extremely appreciative to be able to work in tandem with organizations that go the extra mile to donate another meal!
