Bargain Movers and The Myers Team Realty Team Up to Hold Food Drive

It’s become an annual tradition. Every September, The Myers Team Re/Max Realty Services holds a Donate, Recycle, Shred, and Dumpster Day in which local residents are able to get rid of unwanted junk or shred sensitive documents. Our friends at Bargain Movers volunteer to help out with the event each year and encourage anyone who stops by to also bring donations of non-perishable food, clothing, and other household goods.

This year, Bargain Movers collected and delivered more than 100 lbs. of food to the Manna Food Center, which provides meals to 40,000 people in Montgomery County, MD every year. They donated all of the household supplies to A Wider Circle, which provides basic needs, workforce development, wraparound support, and neighborhood revitalization in the state.

Thank you Bargain Movers, The Myers Team, and everyone who made a donation for making a difference during Hunger Action Month!

Want to host a food drive in your community, but not sure how to start? We can help!
