How to Pack Breakables

Let’s be honest – there’s nothing fun about moving. It’s stressful, exhausting, and thank god most of us only have to do it a few times in our lifetime! When you do move, however, the last thing you want to worry about is your favorite family heirloom getting broken – or even worse, your flatscreen! Hiring a professional mover is one of the easiest ways to avoid this problem. But if you choose to move yourself, there are some simple tips that can help rest your mind at ease.

First thing’s first. Fragile can mean a number of different things. For today’s lesson, we’re going to focus on 3 categories: Dishes & Stemware, Electronics, and Mirrors & Pictures. With all of these tips, we recommend you label as much as humanely possible. When it comes to packing, you can never be too organized. Oh, and one final thing – make sure you write FRAGILE on all of these boxes and mark the tops and bottoms! It makes moving that much easier. Sound good? Good! Now let’s get started
