MOGO Korean Tacos have long been a staple of the Asbury Park boardwalk and on September 22, they hosted their 7th Annual Taco Eating Contest. It was $20 to enter, and all of this year’s proceeds went to support Move For Hunger, a win-win if you ask us!

The annual fundraiser proved to be an effective way of creating awareness and engaging the community. A grand total of $350 was raised at the event, which will certainly help us as we try to reach our goal of providing 3 million meals this year. Thank you to MOGO and to everyone who participated!

Events like this are great examples of how impactful fundraising can be! If you’d like to hold a fundraiser of your own, check out our Featured Campaigns page for ideas on how you can support our mission to reduce food waste and fight hunger!
