Each month, we highlight one of the moving companies in our network for their extraordinary commitment to fighting hunger in their community. We are delighted to announce that Gentle Giant Moving Company of Washington, D.C. is our Mover of the Month for May, 2016!

Gentle Giant of D.C. joined Move For Hunger in March of 2014 and has been one of our most reliable supporters. In addition to the food they collect during the relocation process, Gentle Giant has rescued a combined 24,000 lbs of food and beverages from the 2015 & 2016 Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon, Half-Marathon & 5k in Washington. At this year’s race, four members of the Gentle Giant crew ran the half-marathon with Team Move For Hunger and even supplied volunteers for the event!Gentle Giants does the hauling at Rock 'n' Roll DC 2016
