Seven IMMUNOe Health Centers locations and the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce all held food drives from December 11-15 to help fight hunger in Colorado during the holiday season. Employees were encouraged to donate non-perishable, holiday-themed food, such as instant potatoes, canned vegetables, gravy, and pie filling, to help provide meals for their neighbors in need. Together, they collected 125 lbs. of food, which is enough to provide 100 meals!
Our friends from Colorado Hi-Tec Moving & Storage, a Wheaton World Wide agent, volunteered to pick up the donations from each location and delivered them to the Food Bank of the Rockies.
More than 665,000 people, including 1 in 7 children, in Colorado are food insecure. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this food drive possible!
