This year, we decided to turn the highly anticipated Shark Week into an opportunity to fight hunger by encouraging members of our network to host Shark Week themed food drives!
Members all over the country got involved in the Shark Week fun, including the Estuary Apartments in Weehawken, New Jersey, where residents were encouraged to bring donations of canned tuna, canned salmon, and other non-perishable food items.
We would like to thank Estuary Apartments for hosting this event, and to the crew from Moishe’s Moving Systems for delivering the donations to the New York City Rescue Mission. This Shark Week food drive was a fin-tastic help for the local community!
