DENVER, CO Colorado Hi-Tec Moving & Storage, a Wheaton World Wide agent, has wrapped one of its trucks to raise awareness about hunger in Denver and to encourage residents to donate their food the next time they move.

More than 596,000 people in Colorado are food insecure, including 1 in 8 children. As a proud partner of Move For Hunger, Colorado Hi-Tec Moving & Storage provides its customers with the opportunity to donate their unopened, non-perishable food when they move. All of the donations are delivered to the Food Bank of the Rockies, where it is distributed to local families in need.

“Colorado Hi-Tec Moving & Storage has delivered more than 51,000 lbs. of canned goods, pasta, cereal, and more to the Food Bank of the Rockies since 2010. That’s the equivalent of 42,000 meals,” said Adam Lowy, Executive Director/Founder of Move For Hunger. “This truck will certainly help to create awareness about hunger in the community and will also serve as a call to action for people who want to help.”

“Colorado Hi-Tec Moving & Storage believes in giving back to the community and helping those going through hard times.  Using our vehicle to help spread awareness about hunger in Colorado is just another way we hope to help,” said David Buntyn, Managing Owner of Colorado Hi-Tec Moving and Storage.

The truck wrap was made possible through a grant from the Telluray Foundation, which is generously funding Move For Hunger’s expansion in Colorado.
