Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (BHHS) Elite Realtors hosted their fifth annual fall food drive from October 14-25. BHHS also threw their annual Pumpkin Patch Party during the drive on October 20. More than 110 pounds of food were collected, which provided about 93 meals for people in their community who are facing hunger.
Boerman Moving & Storage, a Bekins Van Lines agent, was kind enough to volunteer to deliver all donations to the West Suburban Community Pantry.
One in 9 Illinois residents struggle with hunger, including 1 in every 6 children. A huge thank you to BHHS for continuing to host their annual drives in support of our mission, and thanks to those at Boerman Moving & Storage for selflessly volunteering their time to help!
