Bellhops Renews Partnership!May 7, 2019 | 9:30 am |
RED BANK, NJ – Move For Hunger and Bellhops announced today that they have renewed their partnership. As an official partner, Bellhops will continue to support Move For Hunger’s efforts to reduce food waste and fight hunger nationwide. To date, the non-profit’s network of relocation professionals has collected and delivered more than 14 million pounds of food – providing more than 11.5 million meals – to food banks and pantries across the United States and Canada.
“One in 8 Americans is food insecure, which means that they don’t have access to enough affordable, nutritious food. Meanwhile, we are wasting 40% of the food we produce every year,” explains Adam Lowy, Executive Director and Founder of Move For Hunger. “Bellhops understands that hunger and food waste are problems we can solve. We are so excited to call them our partners in this fight.”
“We believe Move For Hunger has found a way to close the loop on food waste and moving,” said Kyle Miller, communications director for Bellhops. “And we are thrilled to once again become a Move For Hunger partner.”
Through the generous support of partners like Bellhops, Move For Hunger can continue to help the 40 million Americans who are struggling to find their next meal. For more information about Move For Hunger and how you can make a difference, please visit www.MoveForHunger.org.
