From November 25 to December 16, Bald Birds Brewing Company in Audubon, Pennsylvania held a holiday food drive and fundraiser to embrace the season of giving.

They kicked off the food drive with a chili cook-off on Sunday, November 25. In order to participate, contestants and judges were required to donate $10 to Move For Hunger or 10 canned goods. Prizes to first, second, and third place were given and $250 was raised to support our hunger relief and food waste reduction programs.

Throughout the food drive, 120 lbs. of non-perishable food items were collected, which is enough for 100 meals! The Pottstown branch of Bekins Transfer & Storage delivered the donations to Coventry Food Pantry.

Nearly 1.6 million people in Pennsylvania, including 1 in 7 children, are food insecure.  Thank you to Bald Birds Brewing Company and Bekins Transfer & Storage for helping to provide holiday meals to you neighbors in need!
