Move For Hunger is dedicated to supporting our nation’s food banks year-round, but September, which is Hunger Action Month allows us to come together under a united front. This year, our friends from Arpin International Group held a food drive in September with a goal to collect as much non-perishable food as possible to help fight hunger in and around Warwick, Rhode Island. Arpin collected 1,350 pounds of food during the month-long drive, which will provide more than 1,100 meals for people in the communities they serve!
More than 120,500 people in Rhode Island are food insecure, including 1 in 6 children. Thank you to team at Arpin for recognizing the urgency of the need and taking action!
