Our friends from Apex Moving & Storage volunteered to help out with the Washington State Fair’s First Day Food Drive for the third year in a row!

The Washington State Fair began on Friday, August 30 and anyone who brought a donation of non-perishable food during the first two hours after the opening was allowed to enter for free! Several Apex Moving & Storage employees were on hand to help collect the donations and load them onto one of the 2 moving trucks they provided for the day. Nearly 12,900 pounds of food were donated at their gate alone, which is twice the amount that was collected last year and will provide more than 10,000 meals for their neighbors in need! Apex Moving & Storage delivered all of the donations to the Puyallup Food Bank.

Since joining our network in 2015, Apex Moving & Storage has delivered more than 557,000 lbs. of food to their local food banks — that’s the equivalent of 464,700 meals. Thank you to Dean Savage and everyone at Apex Moving & Storage for your continued support!
