Allied Alaska Collects Nearly 23,000 LBS. of Food During March For Hunger Food Drive

AAA Moving & Storage,/Allied Alaska/Coleman Worldwide Moving of Anchorage held a March for Hunger Food Drive on April 11.

Donations were accepted at many local businesses, including Walmart, IGA, Food Bank of Alaska, Ohana Media Group, Tote Maritime, Matson, Peg Development, Blue Arctic Waste, Hogan Brothers Construction, and Fleenor Paper.

Allied Alaska collected a whopping 22,930 lbs. of food, which will provide 19,100 meals for their neighbors in need! All of the donations were delivered to the Food Bank of Alaska. in Anchorage.

More than 100,000 people in Alaska, including 1 in 6 children, struggle with food insecurity. Thank you to Allied Alaska for always finding ways to fight hunger in your community!
