A-1 Moving & Storage Turns Miles into Meals in Key West

Our friends from A-1 Moving & Storage of Jupiter, FL represented Team Move For Hunger at the Key West 5K on January 19. A-1 Moving's team included Katie Klause-Newitt, Vice President, her husband Andy Newitt, Director of Business Development, Lee Franc, Corporate Customer Service, and their K-9 representative (and very good boy) Bailey Newitt. Together, they raised more than $1,700 to support our hunger relief and food rescue programs! Thank you all for turning your miles into more than 4,000 meals!

A-1 Moving & Storage has been a member of the Move For Hunger network for nearly 8 years, and they have always been one of our most steadfast supporters. In addition to collecting food from their clients, A-1 Moving assists with multiple food drives every year, and Andy Newitt has served as a member of our Mover Action Committee for the past 2 years. Since 2012, A1-Moving & Storage has delivered more than 106,000 lbs. of food to South Florida food banks, which is the equivalent of 88,800 meals.
